Tobacco Factory / New Enterprise “Aromatik” L.L.C.
The first station for collecting tobacco in Gjilan was established in 1945, followed
by additional stations in other cities, such as Gjakova, Prizren and Mitrovica.
The origin of the Prizren Tobacco Factory goes back to 1955 when it was established as a
socially owned enterprise for the production, collection and fermentation of tobacco named
Factory “Prizren” In 1989 the enterprise was named N.D. Aromatik. The factory was later
privatized and currently operates in electric cable production.
